This training provides easy and effective tools for working with youthin your home, school, community or organization. GUIDE works with theSearch Institute's 40 Developmental Assets: what they are, how to applythem and how to teach them to those with whom you are working! GUIDE provides establishments licensed in Gwinnett County with at-cost training in Training for Intervention ProcedureS (TIPS). TIPS is the global leader ineducation and training for the responsible service, sale, andconsumption of alcohol. Proven effective by third-party studies, TIPSis a skills-based training program that is designed to preventintoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving. This training is available for restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and grocery stores. We can also accommodate concession vendors for sports and concert venues. We offer a flexible training schedule which is set to meet the needs of each establishment. Off-premise trainings last approximately 3 hours while on-premise trainings will take between 4 to 6 hours to complete. Please see the requirements below for scheduling details. Spanish? English? We offer the training in both languages. We can also provide test materials in Arabic, Korean, and Chinese. Schedule a TrainingTo schedule a training, please contact GUIDE staff at 678-377-4138 for available dates and times. We can accommodate evening and weekend trainings. Cost: Approximately $20 per person. Discounts are available for groups of 15+. Location: We can travel to your location, as long as it's smoke free during the training. We also can accommodate you at our location up to 8 people.
