GUIDE, Inc. and the Georgia Teen Institutes are pleased to issue the call for workshop proposals for our annual Youth Leadership Conference!
Workshops should be related to youth leadership, prevention or topics relevant to youth and adults who work with them and must be highly interactive. Workshops including youth in the planning and implementation are strongly encouraged.

YLC ’09 will host hundreds
of middle and high school students and adults who work with youth-serving
agencies and organizations at each conference.
Workshops should be related
to youth leadership, prevention or topics relevant to youth and adults who work
with them and must be highly interactive. Workshops
including youth in the planning and implementation are strongly encouraged.
Workshop presenters can
select to lead their workshop once or multiple times, for middle school, high
school or adult audiences, at either or both locations and can submit more than
one proposal. Each workshop will be 55 minutes in length.
Presenters can request two back-to-back time slots for a 2 hour workshop if
needed.
To submit a proposal, please
download the Call for Proposals form and return to the GUIDE office for review no later than September
30, 2008.
Workshop selections will be
made by October 10, 2008 and all applicants will be contacted about their
status at that point.
