Shannon Veronesi, MEd

Shannon Veronesi has over 15 years of experience within the nonprofit and prevention sector. After working at organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, AID Atlanta and Hemophilia of Georgia, she joined the GUIDE team in 2011.

Shannon specializes in collaborative work with local programs and organizations. Among some of her accomplishments are the development of several collaborative youth mentoring and/or leadership programs. She has also developed several programs that focus on the importance of physical activity and nutrition; including a partnership with the YMCA of Metro Atlanta. Shannon has also presented at several national conferences and international poster presentations.

She is also an active member of the Georgia Public Health Association and the Georgia Society for Public Health Education. Shannon received her Masters of Education in Health Promotion and Behavior in 2003 from the University of Georgia and her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Psychology in 1996 from Western State College of Colorado.
